The Charlie Daniels' Band will perform at 8 p.m. at

Elizabeth Evans Park, 100 S. Donnelly St.

The self-taught guitarist, who also plays the mandolin, is known for his fierce Southern country-rock fiddling and signature white cowboy hat.

During Daniels' five decades of making and writing music he has won numerous awards including a Grammy in 1979 for his "The Devil Went Down to Georgia, that scored heavily in both the country and pop markets.

In 1970 he released his first solo album titled Charlie Daniels, and since then he has repeatedly reached the top of the charts with blockbuster hits including "Fire on the Mountain" and "Long-Haired Country Boy." Debbie Manis, Orlando Sentinel.

Upcoming country singer Benton Blount and Casey Jamerson, who sings country and rock music, also will perform.

Gates open at 3 p.m.
