Information and Policies Pertaining to Reservations, Accommodation and Safety at Lakeside Inn

When Planning a Visit to Lakeside Inn of Mount Dora, Overnight Guests and Visitors Should Be Aware of the Inn’s Standard Policies Regarding Reservation Procedures, the Accommodations and General Safety Reminders

Policies

  • A one night deposit is required on all reservations
  • Reservations canceled 48 hours prior to the arrival date are subject to a $25 service fee
  • Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the arrival date will forfeit the first night deposit

  • A 10 day cancellation period is in effect for all festival weekends, holidays and special event weekends
  • Rates and services are subject to change without notice
  • The Inn is a smoke free facility. Smoking is not allowed in any guest room or indoor public area. Smoking in any guest room will result in a cleaning fee of $150.00 per room charged to the registered room guest
  • Room rates are based on double occupancy. The additional person fee is $15 and is room only. Children 17 and under are not charged when sharing their parents room.
  • Dogs up to 25 lbs are permitted, with a per stay fee of $50. Any damage from a pet may result in additional charges and will be based on the estimated cost of repair or replacement.
  • Check in time is 3:00 PM
  • Check out time is 11:00 AM
  • Taxes and surcharges of 13% will be applied to all rates. Included are Florida State Sales Tax, Mount Dora local tax option, Lake County Bed Tax and Inn energy surcharge.

Safety

All rooms, suites and public areas throughout the Inn are protected by a fully licensed and inspected sprinkler and smoke alarm system. All fire extinguishes are all professionally maintained and routinely inspected. The Inn is subject to and in compliance with all required federal, state and local inspections.

Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk for guest use.

Alligators are present in Lake Dora, so guests are reminded to be cautious when near the shoreline.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • General reservations have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
  • If cancelled prior to 48 hours, the one night deposit is refunded.
  • If cancelled within 48 hours, the one night deposit is forfeited.
  • Holiday and Special Events require a 72 hour advance cancellation notice.
  • If cancelled prior to 72 hours, the one night deposit is refunded.
